Did you switch it to neutral before switching off?. Try toggling the switch and checking the solenoid behind the R/H plastic engine cover.

The front lever could probably be changed for a 'dog leg' type if the adjustment is inadequate. The rear lever could probably be repositioned on it's spline or cut and welded.

It's the ideal bike for such roads, eerily quiet and relentlessly smooth and stable with the Givi screen and laminar lip. 90mph easy cruising.

Never realised so many existed! Very impressive construction quality. Useful to know a handlebar mounted screen is an option. Most likely a Spyder, cheers!

Just finished fitting them to an old throw- over base and ended up with 38" maximum width. How wide are the e35s?.

Thanks for that luckily got the 52l box on the pillion seat. Intending to mount the e22s without the givi rack to save width.

Nice job, waiting for an Amazon delivery of a 12v 20Ah lithium battery/jump starter as although the Dn's 450w alternator is fine, monitored on a V meter, another 310w bike is on the limit. I'll carry...

    Heated clothing.

Tried fitting handlebar muffs but they block the mirrors so ended up with 'Warm and Safe' heated glove liners and to keep it simple their jacket liner as well. Can't believe how good they are, every...

    Honda, Tippetts?
No idea if you'll find parts but I'd use the DN as a base for a 'Genesis' or 'Quaser' type, probably without the roof though. They're both local too! Liked the engine but not the...

Most bike engines don't need valves adjusted until 50/60,000 miles, confirmed by a 30+ years mechanic, unless they are well known to , Ducatis and recent fireblades spring to mind.

    Better still!

Get a Tmax, had all the other Maxiscoots and there's no comparison. The only thing that the DN offers is better stability on windy motorways, which is why I keep mine.

Same from me really 8 years now, still waiting for an 800 Tmax.

    Gore tex Pro shell.

Been wearing Gore Tex over jackets and z liner jobs, with no real problems up till now, but considering 'splashing out' on a pro shell. Anyone with experience of 'benefits' or otherwise?
