CAT removal

Hi, has anyone removed the CAT from their bike? If so what other mods are required if any. I already have changed the can to an OM unit...which sounds great.

How did you do this? Did you take it to exhaust shop and they bent the pipe? How much did it cost?

I can`t compare it with AU, sorry. Just "it was cheap". Actually, my friend owns the motorcycle service and he did it (without discounts, I don't like it). The cat was cutted off, and the remain pipe straightened.

Thanks for the info. That o2 sensor is kind of in a way. Was thinking to ditch it although the spammer80 suggested it does not need to be removed. I agree for running of engine you are probably better to leave as is but it is really in the way... will decide later.
