the center pocket, yes, but I'm talking about the space on the left, depending on the direction of travel, which even has two holes that must help keep the thing in place

This is where the RED cover of the data connector is located.
As for the manual, I have it in PDF on my cell phone so, I'm using this compartment for boosting cables since there is no kick start pedal on motorcycle anymore, so I won't get stuck in remote areas if I need to start a DN-01 (automatic) with a dead battery (I'm using a light but more powerful lithium rechargeable 12 V battery now).

I use a small set of jumper wires hidden in the rear cowling under the rear seat.
